The JCCR University Campus is the largest of the ENCORE affiliated sites. Multi-specialty physician investigators from throughout the metropolitan Jacksonville area participate in research trials at the center. Enhanced capabilities of this site include long-term stay facilities, treadmill and bicycle stress test equipment, an active inpatient research team and a database of over 50,000 prospective study participants.

Site Capabilities

The JCCR University site has conducted over 1,000 clinical trials since 1997. This four acre campus also houses the corporate offices for centralized site services for Encore Research (a network of sites in the state of Florida). The impressive investigator panel includes more than 50 physicians conducting trials in 25 therapeutic areas. The site is well equipped to perform Phase 1 through Phase 4 studies, including first-in-human PK and PD protocols. Using standardized processes,  our regulatory and contract staff consistently meet or exceed industry standards for completion of regulatory documents and contract execution. Since 2007, our regulatory department has averaged 27 days from receipt to IRB approval.  Contract completion has averaged 33 days from receipt to full execution.
